Now, DJs can stream Beatport's catalogue into DJing software

Beatport announces new subscription service for DJs, Beatport LINK.

WeDJ app

From now on, djs are able to play music from streaming services including, Spotify and now Beatport. Pioneer dj are supporting this with their new dj controller DDJ-200 and of course more is to come...

Beatport Launching, initially with Pioneer DJ’s WeDJ app, the beta version of Beatport LINK makes their extensive music catalog available to stream directly into performance software. For us, this means, in the near future, artists/producers won't be able to sell music anymore!

Beatport Substruction LINK Plan

The new service lets DJs stream Beatport's catalogue into DJ performance software, starting with Pioneer DJ's WeDJ app and soon into their flagship rekordbox dj. Once LINK lands in rekordbox DJ in Q3 2019, it'll bring with it an ability to access curated playlists, higher quality audio and offline performance mode.

“The launch of Beatport LINK exhibits our commitment to creating the best possible experience for our expanding ecosystem of DJs, and we can think of no better partner than Pioneer DJ for the service’s first software integration. We are particularly excited to introduce the upcoming Offline Performance Mode, which firmly sets Beatport LINK apart from its competitors in the DJ market,” said Beatport CEO Robb McDaniels in a statement.

Beatport LINK also includes the beta version of Beatport CLOUD, a "suite of features for the store’s loyal customer base," including full track previews, unlimited re-downloads and a new My Library section. Beatport CLOUD is available as a standalone subscription for $4.99 per month.
