The Beginner DJ Course is designed for complete beginners, regardless of experience or music taste, guiding you step by step into the world of DJing. You’ll learn the essential skills needed to mix confidently, whether for fun or to play in clubs and bars, while getting hands-on experience with industry-standard Pioneer DJ equipment.
Learn In Person
Lessons are all taught one-on-one from our Luxembourg studios. You can learn at your own pace, with your favourite genre. You can book any day of the week at any of our studios. All equipment is provided and lesson times are 10am, 12pm, 2pm, 4pm, 6pm or 7pm. Once booked you can reschedule when needed 24 hours prior.

Weekly Breakdown:
Course 1: Introduction to DJing
Understanding basic music structure.
Familiarization with DJ equipment.
Overview of the DJing landscape.
Course 2: Mixing Techniques
Basic mixing skills.
Transitioning between tracks.
Introduction to beat-matching.
Course 3: Track Management and Playlist Organization
Cueing tracks.
Creating and organizing a DJ playlist.
Introduction to digital DJing with Rekordbox & Traktor softwares.
Course 4: Effects and Advanced Features
Using basic FX.
Exploring advanced Pioneer DJ equipment (CDJs, mixing consoles, etc.).
Hands-on practice with the equipment.
Course 5: Putting It All Together
Comprehensive practice session.
Beat-matching with ears.
Preparation and live performance of a mini DJ set for a group of students as a first experience.
