Denon DJ has just announced Prime 4, a standalone DJ rig with four internal decks, a large 10″ tilting touchscreen, a built-in hard drive, a second “zone” of audio output, and many more features. Learn more about the Prime 4 in this article.
Denon DJ clearly asked "how do we make the best-standalone DJ system ever made" and then did it. The 10-inch adjustable, multi-touch screen with gestures has the same iOS-style interface that blew us away when we met it 2 years ago in the SC5000. Full metal construction with 6-inch platters gives you the feeling of substance and ruggedness in your hands. 4 USB slots plus SD card and SATA hard drive slots together scream, "leave your computer at home! Seriously!" The X1800-adapted effects make sure you're never left wanting for expressiveness and one of the best IO sections we've ever seen make this a slam dunk for pros.
